By opening an account with UniCredit Bank, you guarantee safety of your funds, with a simple access and managing via a large branch network and other alternative distribution channels.

Current account is a basic account in the local currency for keeping your money which you need to use on daily basis.

  • Receiving salary, pension, compensation and other payments (personal payments, third party payments, standing orders from other banks),

Documents required for account opening:

For local private persons (residents):
  • Copy of the Identity Card,
  • Copy of the Permanent Residence Certificate (issued within previous 90 days) - please submit the original for inspection.
For foreign private persons (non-residents):
  • Copy of the passport verified by the relevant authority,
  • Work Permit,
  • Certificate of Employment,
  • Temporary Resident Certificate,
  • Certificate of no blocked accounts verified by the relevant authority.

You are free to operate your account in several ways, depending on your requirements:

  • At branch offices of the Bank, which requires client identification via an ID card or other identification documents,
  • By using your Debit MasterCard for payments in many points of sale and/or for cash withdrawals at ATMs and other pay-out devices,
  • Via e-banking/m-banking services of the Bank (m-ba and e-ba).

Special benefit for users of JES! account package - free of charge cash withdrawal by Debit MasterCard at almost 19.000 ATMs of UniCredit Group member banks.

Student account is an account where you keep your money in the local currency - free of charge!

Student Account offers you numerous possibilities:

  • Possibility to operate your funds by a Debit MasterCard Student card, 
  • Money kept in the Student Account may be used for cash pay-out, transfers, payments, etc.,
  • You can open a Student Account in any branch office of the Bank,
  • You will receive monthly statements of account from the Bank in order to monitor your account transactions and balances.

  • Copy of the Permanent Residence Certificate (issued within previous 90 days) - please submit the original for inspection 

For foreign private persons (non-residents):

Giro Account offers you numerous possibilities:

  • Possibility of opening a special account for the purpose of receiving various income: service contracts, commissions, part-time or additional work, copyrights, patents and technical improvements, prizes from games of chance, rental or lease of buildings and other real estate, as well as other predefined income sources,
  • You can open a Giro Account in any branch office of the Bank,
  • You will receive monthly statements of account from the Bank in order to monitor your account transactions and balances.

Teen Account offers you numerous possibilities:

  • It is intended for young people from 13 to 18 years of age,
  • UniCredit Bank issues a Debit MasterCard Teenage card for you to operate your Teen Account,
  • The Debit MasterCard Teenage card is linked to your Teen Account and it is a practical way to keep your money always with you and yet to keep it safe,
  • Cash withdrawal at all ATMs of UniCredit Bank d.d. for Debit MasterCard Holders,
  • Buying GSM prepaid tickets at all ATMs of UniCredit Bank and other banks enabling this service.

Documents required for account opening

  • Copy of the Birth Certificate for minors (please submit the original for inspection),
  • Copy of the Identity Card of the legal representative/guardian and authorised person and copy of the Permanent Residence Certificate (issued within previous 90 days) of the legal representative/guardian and authorised person (if the legal representative/guardian/authorised person is a resident) - please submit the original for inspection
  • Copy of the passport of the legal representative/guardian and authorised person, verified by the relevant authority, as well as a certified translation of the passport when it is not possible to identify non-resident legal representative/guardian/authorised person with certainty,
  • For minors without parental care under the protection of a guardian, the relevant decision of the Social Work Center, which provides a proof of the guardian status.

Your parents/guardians may deposit money to your Teen Account via:

  • m-ba and/or e-ba,
  • branch offices, or
  • by standing order

and it is available to you instantly!


You can get information about your account balance:

  • via m-ba
  • or via ATMs

FX Account offers you numerous possibilities:

  • FX account opening and operating in various currencies: EUR, USD, CHF, GBP, HRK, AUD, CAD, DKK, JPY, NOK, SEK - no further charges,
  • Simple FX transactions - send and receive foreign currencies,
  • Cash pay-out in BAM equivalent.
  • You can open an FX Account in any branch office of the Bank,
  • You will receive monthly statements of account from the Bank in order to monitor your account transactions and balances.

BAM Savings Account

Simple and safe method of saving money - for your carefree future!

A savings account is an account with no limits of the number of pay-in/ or pay-out transactions and no cut-off time limits, witch only depends on your needs and preferences. You can open such account in the local currency regardless of your resident/non-resident status or your age.

We offer numerous possibilities:

  • Separating certain amounts of cash(personal deposits, third party deposits, standing orders from other banks) from the main current account,
  • Simple access to your funds at the Bank's counters,
  • Simple and safe financial operations via e-banking and standing orders,
  • Possibility of account opening and using in any branch office of the Bank,
  • Monthly reporting via account statements, including account balance and transactions.

Documents required for account opening

For local private persons (residents), depending on the Account Holder's age, that is if the account is opened by an adult on his/her own behalf or on behalf of a minor/child:

1. For adults:

  • Copy of the Account Holder's Identity Card 
  • Copy of the Account Holder's Permanent Residence Certificate (issued within previous 90 days) please submit the original for inspection

2. For minors:

  • Copy of the Birth Certificate for minors (no certification by a relevant authority is required) please submit the original for inspection
  • Copy of the legal representative/ guardian/ authorised person's Identity Card
  • Copy of the legal representative/guardian and authorised person's Permanent Residence Certificate (issued within previous 90 days) please submit the original for inspection
  • For minors without parental care under the protection of a guardian, the relevant decision of the Social Work Center, which provides a proof of the guardian status;

For foreign private persons (non-residents):

  • Copy of the passport verified by the relevant authority,
  • Certificate of no blocked accounts verified by the relevant authority

You are free to operate your account in several ways, depending on your requirements:

  • At branch offices of the Bank, which requires client identification via an ID card or other identification documents
  • Via e-banking services of the Bank (m-ba and e-ba). 
  • For accounts opened on behalf of a minor, the legal representative/guardian can operate such account until the Account Holder reaches his/her adulthood, in line with limitations defined by the valid Family Law.
